Painted in oils, this work captures the shifting light, vastness and sense of perspective that draws me so deeply to coastal landscapes.
I think we're all drawn to places that help us remember something of ourselves — places that quiet the noise and make everything else feel a little smaller against something so vast.
Perhaps that's why some landscapes feel less like somewhere we visit, and more like somewhere we recognise.
